The showcase features two films from The Moving Picture Institute. Gringa and The ConquerorGringa is a dramedy about a Cuban-American woman who has a foot in two worlds. The Conqueror is a documentary short featuring Jerome Conquest, a maintenance worker by day and a pro boxer by night, who works to shine a light for his community.

Following these two films will be a conversation between Windrider CEO John Priddy and Lana Link, Senior Vice President of The Moving Picture Institute, as they discuss MPI’s support of Gringa and The Conqueror, as well as opportunities MPI offers to students.
